Maria Luisa Cassella 02.JPG

Hello, my name is Maria Luisa. I was born in Italy in 1949, in a small town called Uscio, in the province of Genova. Located at the top of the mountains that surround the Ligure.

From a young age I lived surrounded by art. My mother embroidered, knitted, my grandfather worked leather and wood, my father wrote poetry, sang and played harmonica, and my aunts cooked clothes ..... everyone in my house created something,

Growing up we moved to Venezuela, to Maracaibo, where I assimilated' the reflection of the sun over all the colors and reveled in the vision of those beautiful guajiras that are walking paintings, beautiful women with their batolas of a thousand nuances.

Venezuela I traveled it all from the Andes with its snow-capped mountains to the east with its incredible beaches and rivers and admired the craftsmanship of each part.

Now I have more time and can dedicate myself to my Page and share my creations with those who want to appreciate them.

My flaw is that I don't like to repeat a job so the things they see are unique. So be it 20 aprons, no one will be the same as the other. My children say I'm a bad trader, which is true, if I start selling hats, people will be born headless. But every thing you see is done with true love and think that I have enjoyed doing it, I hope you enjoy and appreciate my creations. God bless you!

My childhood home in Calvari, Italy

Uscio, my birthplace:

Uscio is a charming and sunny town that reveals from its name the enviable position of the immediate hinterland of the eastern Ligurian in fact it is written on its coat of arms "janua patet", the door is open towards an enchanting landscape, the proximity to the sea, the temperate climate in both summer and winter all this makes this place the ideal environment to live or spend a peaceful holiday for everyone.

Very close to the Riviera (15 minutes by car), it offers the visitor panoramic views of incomparable beauty that slide down to the sea of the Golfo Paradiso.
